āDamn, Jen. You did it. No denying. You were the missing link.ā

āJudge Linder is back on the bench.
I had a lovely costar role as a judge on L&O (the original one, now rebooted) last spring. They called last week to bring the character back this season and Iām shooting again tomorrow. I now officially have a recurring role on a network procedural. So great being a part of the L&O universe because once youāre ānetwork approvedā the world the show creates can possibly bring you back to do your job again (and hopefully, again and again, andā¦). Many thanks to Jen Rudolph, the 2% Collective (MEMBERS ONLY), and the amazing self tape lessons from Natalie Roy.ā

āSince working with Jen, I booked 3 Recurring roles: HBO MAXās Doom Patrol, a Peacock series, and a very big franchise.ā

āJust wanted to share that my episode on American Crime Story: Impeachment just aired! Whatās great is itās a full scene with Edie Falco, when I originally only had one line!
This was my second booking after joining the 2% Collective. And guess what? Thereās a third! I booked a co-star on an NBC pilot I cannot mention at this time. I had one theatrical booking last year and prior to that I hadnāt booked theatrical since 2013! Feeling š„šā

āOn Friday, I popped my cherry and booked a network TV co-star. Of course, I had to tell you all first and give a big old shout out to my 2% crew. A very special thank you to Jen Rudolph, Natalie Roy, and Amanda Brooke Lerner who 100% and without question, sent me on the path to achieve this super goal. We dialed it in, baby.ā

āJust booked a role on a Major Network Procedural, yāall!
This one is really special because itās a show on my target list, for exactly my entry point. This shit works! But also know you must be ready to WERK! I had been in NYC for 5 years, aimlessly going to CD workshops paying thousands for headshots that were pretty but got me nowhere when I started ālurkingā in the Green Lounge as we all do. The passion and dedication and the knowledge I found there blew me away, and I knew I had to show up for myself with the same intensity. And Iām so happy I did! I took the time and care to implement everything I was taught, and Iāve been reaping the benefits for three years now.
Special shoutout to Jen Rudolph and Natalie Roy for teaching me the ropes and how to cope.ā

āIāve known Jen for a while, and she is very good at what she does. Actors get nervous when they see programs about packaging because it can feel āsoullessā ā like, I got into this industry for the creative expression! But the reality is that MFAs and conservatories are not going to prepare you for the business side of the entertainment industry, which is just as necessary to learn as monologue prep and scene work.
Itās very frustrating when an actor with tremendous talent isnāt able to get into the right rooms and allow their gifts to shine for something as simple as not knowing how to write a pitch email, not knowing your āentry points,ā or not knowing industry standards for headshots. Jen can help with all of that. And once you have it down, you know it for life! And you wonāt have any ābusiness-sideā barriers getting in the way of your creative expression anymore :)ā

āI got an audition on Friday for a recurring co-star role on HBOās SILICON VALLEY.
Over the weekend and for the last couple of days, Iāve been taking time to envision myself booking that job and working on setā¦ Iāve known for a while that mindset is important to being successful, but it always shocks me when I practice it and it comes true. Because yes, I BOOKED IT! Bonus: this role perfectly fits my rebranded type. I am now wrapped like a present for producers. It literally took less than 48 hours from self-tape to submission to booking. Jen Rudolph is on fire!ā

āThree months ago, I got the opportunity to work with Jen in her 2% program. From our work together, I was able to secure an audition and book a SERIES REGULAR role on an HBO pilot, all without any network credits.ā

āThis is my latest scene from the hit series NOS4A2 on AMC. Keep working, loungers! Jen Rudolph really zeroed in on my Entry Point. Since then, Iāve amassed over 25 network and feature film credits.ā

āMoving to LA at the beginning of COVID, I hit the ground running with everything she said about my type, what I could play, etc. I was able to land an amazing manager, a commercial agent, and a theatrical agent. This week, I shot my first national commercial with Michel Gondry. This sh*t works!ā

āOver the weekend, I got an offer to work with Brandon Cohen over at BACtalent. I was able to use all of Jenās wonderful help that I gained from working with her on the 2%. Something Iāll never forget from Jen is āDo you want to be right or do you want to book?ā and with Jen, Iām learning what will get me to BOOK!ā
